- with the rotating cap in the unlocked position, loosen the clamping screws, turn the rotating cap clockwise and align the zero mark with the reference line on the scope body.
- lightly tighten the clamping screws again and then push the rotating cap to the locked position to ensure proper engagement.
- Loosen the clamping screws of the rotating cap and retighten them again to max. 0.6 Nm. Your rotating cap now has proper engagement as well as alignment with the reference mark.

- Loosen the diopter lock ring by turning it counterclockwise and rotate the eyepiece or diopter adjustment all the way in.
- Look through the scope at a light colored background such as a white wall or blue sky and quickly rotate the eyepiece counterclockwise until you see a crisp reticle. 4.
- Close your eye for about 4 seconds and look through the scope again at the light colored background. Make minor adjustments to the diopter adjustment if necessary. Do not look at the crosshairs for more than 1 second as your eye will begin to compensate.
- Repeat step 4 until you see a razor sharp reticle immediately after opening your eye. At this point, it is best to look at the fine detail parts of the crosshairs.
- Hold the eyepiece firmly and turn the retaining ring clockwise by hand until it is tight. Make sure that the diopter adjustment has not shifted.
CAUTION! The retaining ring must only be tightened lightly by hand. The threads can be damaged by overtightening.
- There is a Return2Zero (R2Z) built into the elevation adjustment. Once the elevation is set to "zero" at the bottom of the travel, you have the ability to adjust another 0.5 mil below that zero.
- There is a rotation stop built into the lateral adjustment that allows for an adjustment of 7 mils in either direction. A total of 20 mils are available internally and can be readjusted.
- To change the battery, make sure the illumination is off and hold it in that position by hand. Then unscrew the battery cover with the coin slot. The CR2032 battery is visible and can be easily pulled out of the scope. Replace the battery with a new good quality CR2032 battery in the correct orientation and screw the battery cover back in place. Be careful NOT to over tighten the cover- hand tight only. Be sure to always turn off the illumination after use.
